Plant NC is implementing a strategic focus on five areas that will define and drive all that we do as a network to help equip and train pastors across our state. We are introducing the 5M’s into our network through three facets – missional coaching, monthly regional gatherings, and our Vital Conference in January. These five areas define who we are as church planters.

Message

This focuses on the importance of theological clarity. Does the church planter understand the gospel and how it applies to all of life? Another important area to focus on is sermon study and preparation.

Man

This focuses on the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of the church planter. Healthy church planter's plant healthy churches.

Marriage

This focuses on the importance of the church planters role as a husband and father. A church planter must pastor his family before he can pastor the church.

Mission

This focuses on the planter leading the church in mission. Does the planter have a missional lifestyle, and is he leading the church on mission?

Methods

This focuses on the importance of leadership development, disciple making and best practices. As the church grows, so does the need for systems and structures.
